Connect a Device or App (Android)
Connect a Device or App for Syncing
Your wellness app has the ability to sync data automatically from your fitness tracking app or device. See the list of compatible device options here.
The connection process varies depending on the platform you are using to access the wellness platform (mobile/desktop) .YOU MUST USE THE MOBILE APP TO CONNECT A DEVICE.
To sync Google Fit:
- At the TOP LEFT of your screen, click the Menu Icon, then select "AddmManage Device"
- Scroll down to the Google Fit option and select ‘Click here to Connect’
- On the next screen, click 'Enable'.
- When prompted, select the Google account connected to your Google Fit account.
To sync Fitbit:
- At the TOP LEFT of your screen, click the Menu Icon, then select "AddmManage Device"
- Scroll down to the option for Fitbit
- Select 'Connect your Fitbit'
Enter your Fitbit Login information.
Note: You must register an account on www.fitbit.com before you can connect your account to Be Well.
- Accept at least the following permissions for data sharing: weight, Fitbit devices, heartrate, activity and exercise, sleep. This information will not be made public on the platform.
- Click ‘Allow’.
To sync another App or Device:
- At the TOP LEFT of your screen, click the Menu Icon, then select "AddmManage Device"
- Scroll down to the ‘Other Trackers’ option.
- Select the type of app or device you are connecting and click ‘Connect’.
- When prompted, select to open the app connected with your device.
- Log in when prompted.
- When asked to share permissions, you will need to share the indicated permissions for Be Well to sync your steps from the device.
- Agree to the Terms of Service if prompted.
